Here's a recent Bloodshot Bill performance and "Magic Mummy" (1933) just for kicks...
Lammping's nutty idea of recording a hip hop album with Bloodshot Bill rockin' the mic works way better than you might expect. Check the clips.
Here's the scoop...
Lammping is a Toronto-based psych project led by composer/producer Mikhail Galkin and drummer Jay Anderson. Galkin has a diverse background, having produced for hip-hop legends like J-Live, Boldy James, and People Under The Stairs, as well as releasing a critically acclaimed solo album as DJ Alibi and working as a film/tv composer. Anderson is a seasoned figure in the Toronto indie scene, playing in bands such as Badge Epoque Ensemble, Biblical, ROY and many others. The two first connected after seeing each other perform in different projects and bonding over their shared love for '90s New York hip-hop, skate videos, DIY culture, Beach Boy harmonies and everything in between. The project was born from their desire to create music without limitations - driven by a spirit of exploration, embracing all kinds of genres, sounds, and influences under the Lammping umbrella. The result is a uniquely eclectic project where anything goes, as long as it feels true to their creative instincts. The live version of the band is a 5-piece, with Toronto musicians Colm Hinds, Scott Hannigan and Matt Aldred lending their talents on vocals, guitar and bass.
Lammping, the genre-defying psych-rock project from Toronto, is set to release four unique albums over the next year, each showcasing the eclectic range of influences and talents of its founders, Mikhail Galkin and Jay Anderson. A collaboration with Montreal's Bloodshot Bill kicks off the series with a psychedelic, sample-driven freak-out that’s as unpredictable as it is fun, blending Lammping’s DIY spirit with Bloodshot Bill’s singular style.

Bloodshot Bill is back with So Fed Up!, his brand new album on Goner Records. He recorded So Fed Up! straight to tape at his own SIN Studios, the way he always does it: fast, loud, and in control.
This isn’t a collection of love songs—it’s a series of warning shots, a swaggering set of tunes from someone who's been through the wringer and comes out swinging on the other side.
A one-man rock ’n’ roll wrecking crew that is equal parts wild-eyed ‘50s punk, greasy garage rock, and untamed hillbilly howl, Bloodshot Bill hails from Montreal, where he’s known for his raw, lo-fi sound, frantic live shows, and immutable outlaw energy. As his reputation has grown, Bloodshot Bill has been deemed a musical wildman, a primitive, a seminal punk, a throwback to the wild ‘50s, and the deranged spirit of psychobilly madness.
Since his first self-released album in 2001, Bloodshot Bill has churned out seventeen more LPs and over thirty singles—including collaborations with King Khan, Mark Sultan, Deke Dickerson, Shannon Shaw (Shannon & the Clams), and the 5.6.7.8’s. From a suitcase full of self-recorded tapes, he’s built a feverishly prolific body of work that digs deep into the raw roots of mutant rock ’n’ roll.
With So Fed Up, his nineteenth studio album, Bloodshot Bill keeps the fire burning. Written in the aftermath of a breakup and a barrage of unsolicited advice (“Cut your hair?”—come on), the record crackles with the defiance of someone who's had enough and isn't shy about saying so. Relationships—rocky, romantic, and everything in between—have always fueled his craft, but here, there's a new sharpness to the storytelling. These songs don’t just smolder—they cut. Think homemade shiv, or a shard of broken glass: raw, improvised, and dangerously effective.
Tracks like “Talk to You” and “Rule Book” flip the bird to anyone laying down rules on how to fit in, while “Emilina”, “It Happens”, and “Kissin’ Never Listen” carry the kind of no-frills grit that only Bloodshot Bill can deliver. And even amidst the edge, there's a glimmer of something brighter—“Say What U Wanna Say” breaks through with a rare flash of optimism.
So Fed Up is Bloodshot Bill’s fourth album for Memphis-based Goner Records, hot on the heels of the critically acclaimed full-lengths Come Get Your Love Right Now, Get Loose or Get Lost, and Psyche-o-Billy. He recorded the whole thing solo, the minute each song was written. No waiting. No overthinking. No compromises. Just raw sound and gut-level emotion.
“I want people to feel good,” Bloodshot Bill says. “And I want them to wanna listen again and again.”
No comparisons needed. Just Bloodshot Bill, telling it like it is.
For fans of: DIY lifers, greasy ‘50s punk, lo-fi confessionals, and people who don’t wanna be told what to do. Fits perfectly alongside The Cramps, Billy Childish, Oblivians, Dead Moon, and your other essential subterranean jungle dwellers.
Watch video for "Emilina" and hear a few tracks following the track listing below.

Pizza fan Stacey Case is launching his new Dive Bar Records label with a split 7" single featuring Bloodshot BILL & Stagger Lee.
Here's the scoop from Stacey Case...
Announcing the first release on Dive Bar Records – a co-release with Hyperopia Records – it’s CORNWALL PIZZA – THE RECORD!
Bloodshot BILL brings a taste of calypso to his side in his new garage rock classic - “P-I-ZZ-A The Cornwall Way”, and Cornwall’s own Stagger Lee performs a heartfelt, rousing love song to Riverside restaurant in “No-One Quite Like You (Cornwall Pizza)” – watch a Swan Dive performance clip on FB right here. Joining Stagger on the recording are Dany Laj, Jeanette Dowling plus a few surprise guests!
Bloodshot BILL explains that the whole crazy pizza-themed split 7-inch single concept arose from his side hustle, reviewing pizza restaurants in a series called "Crust To Dust" for Stacey Case's Pizza Freak page: "My pal Stacey Case (left, one of the greatest weirdos on planet earth) asked me to review Cornwall pizza for his website.
"Over several weeks, we hit 12 spots in total, sometimes doin 3 a day. Sounds like a dream job but man I was gettin' sick of pizza after awhile 😄 Cornwall pizza is basically small town Quebec pizza - really thick w cheese on top (SO MUCH cheese) & ingredients underneath.
"Stacey also asked me to write a Cornwall pizza song. I did, and with its calypso rhythm, Italian subject matter based in Canada, I realized it's the most "me" song I've ever written since I'm Trini/Italian/Canadian. Anyhoo... fun stuff... keep ya posted when it's out!" 🍕 Hmm... seems like Bloodshot BILL needs to cut a whole album of rockin' calypso tunes!
There will be release parties for Cornwall Pizza – The Record in Montreal at Barfly (4062 St. Laurent Blvd) on May 2nd and of course, Cornwall at La Maison Tavern (900 Montreal Rd) now moved to Sunday, May 4th. Should be a hoot. Watch this space for further details about the single release and upcoming shows (FYI: Bloodshot BILL is playing The Horseshoe with Ginger St. James & Falcon Jane on Friday, April 11). Those interested in getting a stylish limited-run hand screened 18" x 24" store display poster for the event (while supplies last) should contact Stacey Case, email: Apizzafreak <at> gmail <dot> com.
Those crazy Canucks Bloodshot Bill and Gerard Van Herk are together on on vinyl at last thanks to Voodoo Rhythm!
Here's the scoop from Voodoo Rhythm Records...
We are super happy to announce this new collaboration between Bloodshot Bill and Deja Voodoo co-founder Gerard Van Herk… CANADA STRIKES BACK !!! Date of release of this 7-inch will be March 14th.
BLOODSHOT BILL meets GERARD VAN HERK from the legendary DEJA VOODOO! The Canadian hick-up rockabilly Trash Lo-Fi King of One Man Bands getting mixed up with Deja Voodoo – it's like a childhood dream comes true! We pressed the 7-inch vinyl record with a European- style hard cardboard sleeve. You can pre-order directly from Voodoo Rhythm right here.
Writes Gerard Van Herk: "Bloodshot Bill and I recorded some tunes together last spring, and now they're coming out on record! My first time on vinyl in 35 years. The EP is on Switzerland's appropriately named Voodoo Rhythm label. I play lead/slide guitar and sing the two songs I wrote (Shot of Blood and Shish Taouk). Bloodshot plays drums, bass, and acoustic/chicken guitar and sings the two songs he wrote (She Said No and Crawl). And we both make a lot of random noises. Give it a listen!
Listen to "Shot Of Blood" and get a copy via Bandcamp over here. Check out some fan-shot footage of Bloodshot Bill and Gerard Van Herk performing together, entirely unrelated to the forthcoming release.
Bloodshot Bill's two-song tribute to King Khan & BBQ is out June 22nd via Cacoophony Clan Records outta Texas.
Here's the scoop...
Bloodshot Bills' rock n' roll wizardry birthed the "June 19th Special" in the year of 2020. I quickly snagged this digital only release which featured two beautiful stripped covers of The King Khan and BBQ Show. But these musical gems became elusive as the release was available for only 24 hours and then vanished into obscurity. I reached out to Bloodshot Bill asking if he'd be down for putting those dead stock covers to wax for charity. This 7-inch vinyl is a testament to the magic that can happen when passion, talent, and charitable spirits converge in the world of music. It's out June 22nd but you can preorder your copy now right here.
This 7-inch vinyl record is the first release in a charitable initiative titled "Singles Only." In this project, the label produces the vinyl, the artist chooses a charity, and all proceeds from the vinyl sales are donated directly to the selected charity. Bloodshot Bill has selected The P.K. Subban Foundation: www.pksubban.com/pksf

PLAY WITH FIRE JULY 4TH BLASTEROO
All references to "no more hotdogs" and "greasy chicken" aside, we simply had to repurpose this smokin' snapshot of Keith and Brian playin' with fire for the first of our special July 4th declarations of independents, despite the fact that we're all celebrating the 245th anniversary of our split from Britain this weekend.
