NYC's Daddy Long Legs and Bloodshot Bill – together on the same bill?!! – could be the best thing you'll see all year at The Legendary Horseshoe Tavern!
Daddy Long Legs & Bloodshot Bill
New York City's own Daddy Long Legs are rolling through the legendary Horseshoe Tavern with their untamed brand of lo-fi blues, roots rock, and guttural soul on Sunday, November 16th at 7:30 pm!
Known for setting stages ablaze across the globe, this powerhouse band delivers every show like a thunderstorm — raw, electric, and impossible to ignore.
From reimagined standards to explosive originals, Daddy Long Legs transform every set into a full-blown fire ceremony. Don’t miss your chance to witness the blues--reborn and unchained.
Joining DLL is Montreal’s own Bloodshot Bill. Described by John Waters as “like Roy Orbison with a head wound,” Bloodshot Bill blends psychobilly, garage rock, and old-school country into a raw, high-energy experience. Watch Daddy Long Legs tear up Lee's Palace in February, 2024 followed by Bloodshot Bill's appearance at GonerFest 22 below.

Here's the scoop...
From the first bass note within the driving drum beat you can tell something is different about the new record from Nikki Lane. The backbeat feels like a gutsy strut while the lead guitar feels like a revved up engine shifting gears. Denim & Diamonds comes out firing, spit shining the cowboy boots and tossing on a jean jacket.
Produced by Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age), Denim & Diamonds has the Highway Queen embracing a more rock-oriented sound while still maintaining the heartfelt outlaw country sound she has developed across her previous three releases. Denim & Diamonds still has the fuck-off flare of which Nikki has come to be known. Her stylized, story-telling lyrics are all there as well as her catchy country hooks. The outlaw country sound is now balanced out with a gritty guitar and a machine gun snare that echoes the sound of 70’s rock.
Nikki Lane has made a record that sounds new and old. Familiar and surprising. She embraces where she has come from, (“First High”, “Born Tough”) the lessons learned along the way, (“Good Enough”, “Try Harder”) all while doing things her way, (“Denim & Diamonds”, “Black Widow”).
