Here's the scoop...
The Italian sound library album from 1973 known as "Tropical" is a rare collection of music composed by Romolo Grano and Paolo Renosto, better known by his alias Lesiman.
The rarely seen 18-track Tropical album was originally released on Cicci Santucci's label New Tape —known for its ultra-limited pressing runs of 100 to 200 copies per title—the label's archive is today owned and maintained by SONOR Music Editions.
Renosto and Grano make good use of flute and Hammond organ to create a set of creepy, tension-filled soundscapes, many of which bear a dark sense of impending doom that would work well in a dimly-lit horror film scenario.
