Just in time for Christmas, Rulez delivers "Black Santa"

Toronto MC/producer Don Cash aka Rulez has shared a fresh yuletide gem "Black Santa" which you can get right here.

Black Santa
They used to tell a tale about a man on the block
Had a long grey beard and Jordan Twos he would rock
Sometimes he'd switch out Bally other day's Balance News
And he kept an eye on crews which cliques was following rules
Who was putting in work and who was staying up late
Who took less than a half to give his cousin a plate
Who put in extra on a bag when the connect had a sale
And used the rest of the profit so shorty made bail
Who was keeping up with studies extra readings and such
Everything is math and physics don't be eating too much
This brother had an eye on the kids at the shop
Which ones was stealing candy making life hard for pop
Which ones was cutting school and talking back to they moms
Which ones was falling back apologizing for wrongs
Every year around December yo this brother would flex
They said he had a long list and your name might be next

Black Santa
The brother wore red but he would show out for blue
Ain't matter black or white when he showed love to you
They said he started small but over time he had grew
From worm to butterfly still saying hi cuz you knew
But things was going wrong the block was losing the hope
Ain't no candy Christmas morning just got stockings of soap
Inflation going up with isolation can't cope
Students dropping out of school cuz it's more money in dope
But Black Santa showed up and put some goat in the pot
Curried up some Sunday dinner grab a plate it's a lot
When the block woke up it was presents in wrap
Gap jeans fresh Adidas X box fitted Jays Cap
Everyone was happy even granny had smiled
Black Santa saved Christmas with a holiday freestyle
Spreading out the wealth with these generous bars
Happy New Year to all may you stay out the squad car

Black Santa
(Guess who's back with gifts for all the kids and
Dope beats and plans for mans we still missing
Co-sign my lines to find the ambition
Y'all know the time the shine will keep glistening)
