Here's the scoop from Yep Roc HQ...
On October 27, Yep Roc Records will release Full Time Men’s Part Time Job. Available on CD, Digital, and Limited Edition LP formats, Part Time Job marks the first time the band’s illustrious catalog is finally available on CD or digital platforms.
In the mid-to-late ’80s, Full Time Men was a part time venture of Fleshtone Keith Streng (guitar and lead vocals) that featured Gordon Spaeth (sax, harp), Robert Warren (bass, vocals). and Bill Milhizer (drums), all full time members of New York’s Fleshtones, along with Rich Thomas (lead guitar, vocals) from LESR (Lower East Side Rockers). This compilation of the band’s material includes special guests Peter Zaremba (Fleshtones), Pat DiNizio (Smithereens), Dave Faulkner (Hoodoo Gurus), Stiv Bators, Jeff Connolly, Scott McCaughey, and Peter Buck.
The 20-track Part Time Job (CD/Digital) set collects the band’s entire recorded catalog. It features four previously unreleased songs, “We Were Using,” “Reinvented,” “Pink Cloud,” and “TOT (Toilet of Time),” plus songs from the band’s 1984 self-titled debut EP, Full Time Men, 1988’s Your Face My Fist, and 1999’s The Fabulous Sounds Of Coney Island EP. The Fab Sounds Of Coney Island featured Ken Fox of the Fleshtones on bass and Andy York, of John Mellencamp fame, on lead guitar.
The Part Time Job 12-track LP, limited edition to 500 units and pressed on translucent emerald green vinyl, includes all three songs from the Full Time Men EP, select songs from Your Face My Fist LP, and the four previously unreleased songs, “We Were Using,” “Reinvented,” “Pink Cloud,” and “TOT (Toilet of Time).” You can pre-order a copy of the CD or LP via Yep Roc right here.

Hoodoo Gurus announce new album Chariot Of The Gods due in March
| The Gurus' release of Chariot Of The Gods on March 11 will be preceded by a one-off livestream event on March 10th. |
Here's the scoop...
The latest Hoodoo Gurus album, CHARIOT OF THE GODS will finally be available on FRIDAY, MARCH 11th.
Making ‘Chariot Of The Gods’ has been a long, difficult and very strange journey, for obvious reasons. In fact it was made under the most challenging conditions of our career but we are thrilled with the results and we’re certain you will be too. The final album contains 14 tracks, including the four singles already out (in reverse order of release) CARRY ON, WORLD OF PAIN, GET OUT OF DODGE and ANSWERED PRAYERS.
Today we are also announcing that on THURSDAY, MARCH 10, the night before the album is released, there will be a special ONE-OFF LIVE EVENT during which we will play the entire new album completely LIVE IN THE STUDIO, to be broadcast over the internet. We’ve spent a lot of time and energy (not to mention expense) putting fancy production touches on our latest studio effort but we are so confident in the strength of these new songs that we are letting the world hear the entire album for the first time completely unvarnished, performed by the four of us absolutely live.
Follow this link to find out more and to pre-order the album and/or buy a ticket for the E-Stream event: https://hoodoogurus.lnk.to/ChariotOfTheGods
If you pre-order the digital download version of the album nw you’ll get automatically receive downloads of the four current singles right away.
Alternatively, you can order ‘Chariot Of The Gods’ on the CD or vinyl version (along with other related band merch. as a bundle) right here: https://hoodoogurus.bandtshirts.com.au
IMPORTANT NOTE: the limited edition 2LP vinyl version of the album contains three extra tracks, including the non-album single "Hung Out To Dry" as well as two other songs "Obviously Five Believers" and "I Wanna Be Your Man" unavailable elsewhere.
Watch the Gurus play "Get Out Of Dodge" and "Answered Prayers" from the new album along with a couple of old faves.
