"Hello!!!!! I made a new record, and I just dropped my new single, "Music and Motion."

I'm so, so, so, so excited!

It's been 7 years since I released a full-length album, and this is my first single from it - Tailspin will be out in the world May 29th, and I am beyond thrilled to share this project with you.

We are living through such tough times. I hope this song will sprinkle a little joy into your lives!

Sweet Relief tribute album for Little Feat's Lowell George due May 17th

Long Distance Love features the songs of Lowell George reprised by Dave Alvin, Eleni Mandell, Elvis Costello and others. 

Here's the scoop...

Lowell George was the guitar virtuoso, vocalist and songwriter for Little Feat. In this new Long Distance Love collection of 25 songs, artists including Eleni Mandell, Dave Alvin, Elvis Costello, Miles Tackett, Larry Goldings, Ben Harper and Lowell's daughter Inara George interpret and perform the music from his diverse catalog. Born in Hollywood, Lowell George was a member of Frank Zappa's Mothers of Invention before leaving to form Little Feat with keyboardist Bill Payne, drummer Richie Hayward and bassist Roy Estrada in 1969. Lowell performed and recorded with the band for eight albums until his passing in 1979. His legacy lives on with the Sweet Relief tribute album Long Distance Love released by Flatiron Recordings on May 17th. Get a copy right here.

Yep Roc sneaks out fab Eleni Mandell live set

One of Yep Roc's better ideas is their digital-only live series with this 2012 set from Eleni Mandell at the Cat's Cradle in North Carolina being the best surprise yet. 

Here's the scoop...
In 2012, Yep Roc Records celebrated its 15th Anniversary with a festival called YR15. Over the course of 4 raucous days and nights 26 Artists performed for Yep Roc fans from around the world at the legendary Cat’s Cradle and other venues around Chapel Hill and Carrboro, North Carolina including Los Straitjackets, Robyn Hitchcock, Tift Merritt, The Minus 5, Southern Culture on the Skids and yes, brilliant Los Angeles singer/songwriter Eleni Mandell.

Eleni Mandell performed on Thursday October 11th at Cat’s Cradle. Over the course of six songs, she played fan favourites from I Can See the Future, Artificial Fire and Crooked Man. Get it right here.
