A meeting of Soul, Funk, World & House Music, Groovin' in The Park is a daylong event at Toronto's Woodbine Park and is a part of the Toronto Beaches Jazz Festival summer programming. Family-friendly setting of Woodbine Park in the city's East end is a beautiful setting for this community-focused dance party which includes delicious food options, beer garden, shaded seating and it's FREE with an RSVP.

A true innovator and icon in Hip Hop, House, and Latin music, Tony Touch has consistently revolutionized the DJ game. From his legendary mix tapes and albums to his remarkable skills on the turntables, Tony Touch has become one of the world’s most recognized DJs. Starting as a B-Boy during the rap music renaissance of the early 80s, he produced iconic mixtapes like the original 50 MC’s, featuring top emcees such as KRS ONE, Kool G Rap, Big Daddy Kane, Wyclef Jean, M.O.P, Big L, and Mos Def. These mixtapes, along with countless others, earned Tony the title of the ‘Mix Tape King’
Tony Touch evolved from mixtapes to record releases, notably with “The Piece Maker” in 2000, which featured artists like Big Pun, Cypress Hill, Wu-Tang Clan, Busta Rhymes, Eminem, and Gang Starr. He continued to release successful albums such as “The Piece Maker 2” and “The Piece Maker 3,” featuring stars like P. Diddy, Fat Joe, Sean Paul, Snoop Dogg, and Ruben Blades. He has toured over 30 countries and appeared on shows like “Saturday Night Live” and “The Dave Chappelle Show.” In 2019, he signed with Louie Vega’s Vega Records and released hits like “SACUDE” and “APAGA LA LUZ.”
