Huckleberry Friends release party tonight @ Silver Dollar

While you were out trick-or-treating last Halloween, Amanda Jade, Sienna and Hillary of Toronto's own Huckleberry Friends were over in Leaside recording creepy tunes in the spooky abandoned CNR warehouse with James Anderson. Two of the tracks they cut were pressed up on three song pumpkin-coloured vinyl 10-inch EP and wrapped up in a cardstock foldout made to resemble the Frederick Todd designed façade of the old Leaside Locomotive Shop where the session went down.

To celebrate the creation of this stylish limited-edition package, Dan Burke will be hosting a Huckleberry Friends record release party tonight (Thursday, July 29) at the Silver Dollar with suitably noisy support from Slim Twig and his Tropics crew along with Pony Da Look.
Doors open at 9:30 and the cover is just $6 but bring some extra cash if you wanna leave with that sweet piece of wax. However, if you really need a copy of the Huckleberry Friends 10" EP and you can't make it to the show, you might try sending a mail order plea to chuck.skullz@gmail.com with the subject line "OMG, I so need that Huckleberry Friends EP"
