The Ghost of Hank Williams, aka Steve Ketchen, heads up a swell birthday salute to country great Hank Williams on Friday night. 

HANK WILLIAMS’ 103RD BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

On Wednesday, September 16th, the Ghost Of Hank Williams and his Drifting Cowboys celebrate what would've been Hank Williams’ 103rd birthday with a night dedicated to the songs of one of country music’s all-time greats.

Taking on the Hank Williams songbook for the night:

Steve Ketchen (Parkdale Rebels, Kensington Hillbillys, Street Legal, The Dharma Bums), Pete Lambert, Steve Good, Joey Burke & Chris Staig

Plus a whole pile of special guests joining throughout the night including:

Tom & Tara Dunphy (of The Rizdales), John Borra, Jerry Leger, Michelle Rumball, Bill Wood, Joanne Morra, Teddy Fury and who knows who else might make an appearance. 

Come down to the 'Shoe for a night of Hank Williams classics, honky-tonk and special guests at the Legendary Horseshoe Tavern (370 Queen St. West) on Wednesday, September 16. Doors at 8 pm. Showtime: 8:30 pm. Tickets are $15 advance available here.

The Danny Gatton website DannyGattonGuitar is re-releasing the legendary Robert Gordon & Danny Gatton album The Humbler after 30 years! This newly remastered version of Robert Gordon and Danny Gatton Live from the Berkeley Square recording, contains 17 live tracks from the legendary 1981 gig. 

Included are two newly discovered, never-before heard acetate studio tracks, versions of "How High The Moon" and "Ode To Billie Joe" from a 23 year old Danny Gatton circa 1968.  

The Humbler goes live at DannyGattonGuitar.Com on September 17th. Cd’s + downloads will be available on that date and vinyl will be a pre-order item with delivery expected in January.
