"Ronnie was a real deal one of a kind type guy. I was lucky to know him. When he lived in Montreal we got to play & record together, and he even stayed at my place briefly. We stayed in touch when he moved on to Ontario & then BC. He said he missed doing gigs ("no one to play with out here"). We eventually lost touch. I tried reaching out to him just last month but his number had been changed.
He had a distinct style whether he was doing roots music or on a beatnik kick. Rest easy Ronnie." 🎶
