The Midnight Cowgirls @ The Horseshoe, Saturday

The Midnight Cowgirls – featuring Jennie Vee (formerly of Tuuli!), Blaise Dahl, Marlhy Murphy – rock The Horseshoe on Saturday. Check the clips below.

Here's the scoop...

Fresh off a scorching U.S. tour opening for rockabilly legends The Stray Cats, and recent high-profile shows with Jack White and Nikki Lane, this powerhouse feminine collective is taking the stage to deliver their signature fusion of country grit, new wave edge, post-punk energy, and rockabilly swagger.

Formed by Sudbury-born Jennie Vee (Eagles of Death Metal, Palaye Royale, Tuuli), with Blaise Dahl (Dahl Haus, F You Tammy) and Marlhy Murphy behind the kit, The Midnight Cowgirls are rewriting the rules of genre. Think twangy guitars, throbbing bass, and ferocious rhythm — all wrapped in unapologetic attitude.

Premiered on Sirius XM Outlaw Country, celebrated coast to coast, and now headlining at one of Toronto’s most iconic venues, The Legendary Horseshoe Tavern (370 Queen St. West) on Saturday (August 16) at 8:30 pm. Tickets are $16.50 advance and available right here.

Check out their versions of "The Night Before" by The Beatles and "Rock This Town" by The Stray Cats featuring a guest appearance by Jennie Vee's significant other Slim Jim Phantom on vocals.
