"I wrote this song, inspired and moved by seeing “A Woman Under the Influence” for the first time back in the early 90’s. That movie—and Gena Rowlands' performance in particular—blew me away back then and did the same when I watched the movie again last night after hearing about hearing the sad news of Gena’s passing. Thanks for the great performance, inspiration and incredible body of work. RIP Gena Rowlands.
