Adam Green was aiming for Johnny Franz-era Scott Walker but wound up in a Domenic Frontiere spaghetti western. Catch him at The Horseshoe tonight. |
The recording features the talents of producer Loren Humphrey who also played drums, James Richardson of MGMT (guitar, bass, piano, brass arrangement, brass), and Jesse Kotansky (string arrangement, strings)"
The cover comes just in time as Adam Green begins his North American tour, named after his latest album Engine of Paradise along with companion-piece graphic novel "War and Paradise."
Explains Green, "Engine of Paradise is some soil to plant yourself in. It's a place to relax, like being in a movie theater, where the players are jewelers of melodic time. My graphic novel, War and Paradise, is a companion to the album and available for FREE to download from AdamGreen.info, and hard copies are available to order through PioneerWorks.Org!"
Adam Green's current tour will take place across the United States and Canada with a stop in Toronto for a show at The Legendary Horseshoe Tavern tonight (Tuesday, March 10) with Nation of Language and Adrien Cassignol opening at 8:30 pm. Listen to Adam's cover of 'All Hell Breaks Loose' followed by The Misfits' original 1982 version below.
