Calibro 35 – Decade
On February 2, Italian cinematic funk combo Calibro 35 release their much anticipated sixth studio album Decade on Record Kicks – marking their 10-year milestone with with a super-sized line-up, appending the tight Milanese quartet of Massimo Martellotta, Enrico Gabrielli, Luca Cavina and Fabio Rondanini with a full orchestral complement of horns, strings and percussion. Produced and mixed by longtime Calibro 35 studio collaborator, Tommaso Colliva (Phoenix, Franz Ferdinand, Mark Lanegan, Muse, Arto Lindsay) the album brings to bare the enormous wealth of influences accumulated by the individual members over the course of the ensemble's brilliant 10-year run.
