Miranda Mulholland's album release party @ The Dakota Tavern, May 14

The new "Whipping Boy" album by Great Lake Swimmers fiddler Miranada Mulholland is out May 13.
Recorded in Los Angeles and Toronto with producer Sean Watkins (of Nickel Creek infamy) Whipping Boy is the full-length solo debut of Miranda Mulholland, key member of Great Lake Swimmers, Belle Starr and Iron Maiden tribute band Copper Lassie!
Fresh, literate and dynamic, this rootsy record features Miranda's skilled singing and fiddle playing, Sean's virtuosic guitar along with guest cameos by Greg Leisz, Natalie Haas, Burke Carroll and the other members of Belle Starr. Check out the videos for "Under The Palms & The Pines," "How Many Times" and "Molly Bloom" from the Whipping Boy album issued by the Parkdale-based Roaring Girl Records label on May 13, the day before her release party/label launch wing-ding at the Dakota Tavern.
