Here's the scoop...
Soul Encyclopedia appear to be as obscure a band as one could conjure up, but looks can be deceiving. In fact, Soul Encyclopedia is the world famous Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section. Their only single, “Geraldine Jones” is a super soulful funky number recorded at Muscle Shoals Sound with Larry Saunders singing on the vocal version. Longtime listeners of Secret Stash reissues will recognize the instrumental from "Free Angela." Now both versions are finally available on streaming platforms everywhere.
