Victoria's BUM finally releases video they started making in 1993!

Back in 1993, BUM began making a video for "Instant Kool Ayd" which guitarist Rob Nesbitt just finished. Watch it below.

Here's the scoop from BUM's Rob Nesbitt...
"28 years in the making!! In case you haven't figured it out, BUM was basically a group full of goofballs. Lot's of ideas, many of them in complete opposition to what we believed in our hearts was our best interests. So in late 1993(?) we set out to make a video for, what I feel (Rob), is our best song – "Instant Kool Ayd."

Promotion = Smart!

But we also felt videos were sort of dumb, or at the very least they weren't "punk", so we didn't take things very seriously. There is not single, complete performance of the band miming the song. Mostly it was just us jumping around to no music at all except whoever was drumming. This makes an edit nigh on impossible. No one even wanted to attempt it.

Well, this weekend I spent about 96 hours applying my rudimentary skill to Lightworks and did it!
It was such an immense pleasure to watch these guys, my fellow band mates, just be themselves and how much we enjoyed being dumb together. Hearing the song 8 trillion times in 3 second intervals only reinforced how good it is--kudos to its author, Andrew Molloy. Watch for the bad hair and ineptitude, stay for the youthful beauty of Kev Lee and Graham Watson!"
