It is with deep sadness that the Tout-Puissant Orchestre Poly-Rythmo de Cotonou announces the passing of Vital Assaba, our trumpeter.
For decades, his breath and fire carried the groove of Poly-Rythmo across Benin and the world. His trumpet will remain etched in each of our melodies.
Rest in peace, Vital. Your mark remains.
