"I wrote Strange Medicine in fits and starts between 2020 and 2022. I loved the idea of creating a world of instinctual, groovy songs with lyrics that told fantastical stories full of magical realism and cyclical language and fever dream sounds. My co-producer Joe Grass and I took our time with the production, following our ears as we went. And we certainly didn’t do it alone.
